AAoS Return to Training Rules During COVID-19

Updated planned return to play June 25 as outlined in Governor Abbott's executive order GA-28. Governor Abbott specifically states in his executive order that recreational sports programs for youths have no occupancy limit and they are exempt from the 100-person limitation.

Below you will find specific rules and procedures that will be enforced in order to protect the safety of players and families in the Limited Soccer Training Sessions offered by AAoS.

  • Each parent and/or player must complete and sign both pages of this release/waiver before attending training. This signed Release/Waiver also gives consent for you and/or your child to participate in AAoS training.
  • Take your temperature before coming to practice.
  • Please use the bathroom at your house before coming to practice. It’s highly recommended.
  • Parents will remain in car for all drop offs of players for training and during training sessions
  • Bags should be placed 6 feet from each other.
  • No high 5's
  • No hand shaking
  • No contact among players
  • Players will dress inside their cars.
  • Players will take shoes on and off, inside their cars.
  • Players CANNOT remain at the fields once their time slot it’s over. MUST leave immediately.
  • You are assigned allotted time slots at the fields to arrive and be dismissed. DO NOT be early or late.
  • Any player experiencing cold or flu-like symptoms in the past 14 days should not attend training. This includes fever, chills, cough, sore throat, muscle pain, loss of taste or smell, respiratory illness, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing.
  • No player should attend training if they are currently diagnosed with COVID-19 or have a test pending.
  • No player should attend training if they are currently under quarantine due to COVID-19 concerns.
  • No player should attend training if they have had contact with anyone diagnosed with COVID-19 in the last 14 days.
  • No player should attend training if they have traveled to anywhere designated as having a widespread ongoing transmission by the Center for Disease Control.
  • All players and coaching staff will always practice social distancing during training including possible water and bathroom breaks.
  • Players must use ONLY their water jug and their own ball.
  • Players must bring their OWN towel and use ONLY their towel during the training session. Use towel to wipe off face and hands avoiding contact with hand to face.
  • No players are allowed to touch or move any equipment on the AAoS Training Facility.
  • Players are required to bring their OWN hand sanitizer that will be kept in their bag.
  • If you feel that there is an unusual hazard during the training activities, then you can remove yourself from the fields and immediately bring the matter to the attention of the Directors.
  • Follow all AAoS directions. DO NOT assume anything, ask.

All AAoS families, guests and players MUST familiarize themselves with these rules and follow procedures. AAoS wants everyone to stay safe and healthy while enjoying their training experience at AAoS Training Facility.
