Tim Trevino played for Dallas Jesuit and earned All-State honors in both his junior and senior years while twice leading Jesuit to a TCIL State Championship. Trevino was the leading scorer and team MVP on the 1988 squad that ranks as one of the greatest in Jesuit lore. Finishing the year undefeated, while dominating many of the best public schools in the area, the Rangers outscored their opponents that season, 68-9. They were ranked number 1 in State and 2 in the Nation.

Trevino continued his career at Oklahoma City University. After being named the team’s Outstanding Freshman in his first season, he was named NAIA All-American in 1990 and 1991. He became the University’s all-time leading scorer during his senior campaign and was a finalist for the NAIA National Player of the Year. In addition, he earned All-District honors all four years and was twice named District MVP (1990-91).

From 1989-91, Trevino played for the US Region III team and was a finalist in the selection for the 1992 Olympic Team. After a successful season for the amateur Oklahoma City Spirit in which he led the team in scoring and was MVP of the All-Star game, Trevino turned pro. He played for both the Dallas Rockets (1991-92) and Oklahoma City Slickers (1994-95) of the United States International Soccer League (USISL). In 1992, he led the Rockets in scoring, was a USISL All-Star and represented the United States in CONCACAF Champions League. Also in 1992, Trevino made history by becoming just the third American to play in the first division in the Czech Republic when he joined the SKP Spartak Hradec Kralove team.

Trevino holds a USSF "A" license and is a High School and Collegiate Hall of Fame Inductee.

Trevino currently serves on the National Premier League (NPL) Advisory Board.
